Wildlife World Zoo Aquarium & Safari Park

A field trip to Wildlife World Zoo, Aquarium, & Safari Park will complement any biology curriculum at any grade level. Students can feed lory parrots, learn about animal ambassadors and see some display natural behaviors during a Wildlife Encounter Show, and meet baby animals in the children’s play area and petting zoo.

Rides:
* $2.00 per ride per school visitor (Adults and Students) for the Merry-Go-Round Ride.
* $3.00 per ride per school visitor (Adults and Students) for the Safari Train Ride, Safari Tram Ride, or the Verizon Superpages Wildlife Skyride (must be 42” or taller to ride without an adult).
* $3.00 per ride per school visitor (Adults and Students) for the Flume Ride (must be 42” or taller to ride).
* $3.00 per ride per school visitor (Adults and Students) for the Family Coaster Ride (must be 36” with adult/42” or taller to ride alone).
* $3.00 per ride per school visitor (Adults and Students) for the Flying Scooters (must be 36” with adult/44” or taller to ride alone).
NO DISCOUNT FOR THE ZIP LINE RIDE (must be 42” with adult/47” to ride alone).

Special Features:

* Wildlife Encounters Show: This 15 to 20-minute presentation is done Monday thru Friday at 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., and 2:30 p.m.
* Sea Lion Show: Show times are 11:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
* Sea Lion Feeding: Feedings are at 12:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.
* Penguin Feeding By Staff: Watch the Penguin feedings by staff at 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
* Public Bird Feedings: Lory Parrot feeding times are 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m. & 3:00 p.m. daily.
* Stingray Touch Tank: Stingray feed is sold at this exhibit for $2.00 for school groups (approximately 3 pieces of feed).
* Children’s Petting Zoo: Animal feed is sold at this exhibit for $.50 cents.
* Giraffe Feeding Station: Animal feed is sold at this exhibit for $.50 cents.
* Indoor Exhibits: The Aquarium buildings with 80+ exhibits, Animal Baby Nursery, Tropics of the World Reptile Exhibit, It’s a Small World Small Mammal exhibit, and 4 Adventureland Exhibit buildings.

LUNCH

* Please encourage students to pack their lunch in paper sacks or lunch boxes. Plastic is not biodegradable and may be harmful to the animals.
* Lunches may be stored in the designated area next to the Flume ride (as room permits) at the east entrance or left on the buses.
* Please have all items belonging to your group marked with your school name as there will be other schools storing items in this room.

Picnic Areas:
* Picnic areas are located outdoors:

  • West Side of Zoo: east of bleachers and show area adjacent to the Tropics of the World Reptile exhibits.
  • Southwest corner of Zoo: near the Sky ride loading area.
  • Northeast corner of Zoo: next to the Congo Cooker Cafe.
  • East entrance: close to the Flume ride.

* To help the Zoo, Aquarium & Safari Park maintain its natural setting, as well as for animal safety, remember to please clean your area before you leave. Please keep in mind there are other schools that will be sharing these outdoor picnic areas.
